The beginning

Welcome to Alicia's journal.

This was created to keep all my friends and family posted on the news from my working holiday in Japan.

First a little about me. I am female, 20, and from Australia. I have a boyfriend named Sam and we live together in a small flat with 2 cats, a bird and a mouse. I am a waitress in a uni cafeteria and study Japanese.

Now on with the story. I recently decided that in order to accentuate my studies working in the country where the language I was learning was all around me was a good idea. I have never been overseas before so it is a little strange to me but I am excited none the less. My first move is to look for a job. I have skills in hospitality so a bar job would be the best bet.Since this is only the first chapter I will leave it at that for now. I will update soon with more information!
